Social networking users are starting the movement towards creating mobile content, with recent predictions seeing revenues topping out at $6 billion by 2012.

Thus far, social networking revenues are hovering around the $572 million range, analysts predict that social networking services will increase drastically as it shifts to the mobile world. Currently 14 million users access social networking sites from their mobile devices, that is supposed to explode to 600 million by 2012. Among those users, the US has the largest number of users with 7.5 million. Next in line is Italy with 1.3 million, and the UK sits in 3rd with 1.3 million cell phone using social networkers.
