Ask introduces Click to Speak

Ask has been keeping a steady pace in the search wars, and even though they arent up to par with Google’s offerings, they are striving to create their own unique market elements, especially in the local and mobile markets.

Ask has recently introduced Click to Speak, a service that works on web enabled mobile devices. It eliminates any need to type in addresses which can be slow, and mistyped. The service is free to use, besides any carrier fees, and works from visiting ask.com or m.ask.com from any mobile web browser, selecting directions and speaking your directions.

The Click to Speak offering is a team effort between Ask and Dial Directions, a provider of voice activated location based services.
