Google Docs adds support for Headers and Footers

Google is by no means slowing down on the development of the online based Google Docs productivity suite. As we found out past weekend, Presentations are now embeddable, and plenty new features will be rolling out in 2008. Well, another new feature has just entered the word based Docs, Headers and Footers. Taking the queue from Microsoft’s popular Word, Google has added in a feature that people, especially those office folks, expect to have when typing out a document.

Headers and Footers in Google Docs works by clicking on the ‘Insert’ tab and clicking on either “Header” or “Footer”. Simple, and one step closer to meeting everyone’s requirements for a word based application. Too bad that Microsoft still has a strong hold on the Office crowd. You never know, 2008 could be the turning point!
