A company called A La Mobile is planning on releasing software that was built off of the Google Android open mobile platform. The Linux based open mobile device developer said it will be releasing a suite of applications that include a browser, camera, games and more all based on Google Android SDK.

A La Mobile has said that Google Android can deliver on its promise, with customization being the key, which can reduce costs as well as development time. The company has already installed their browser, phone dialer, audio player, Google Maps, camera, calendar, notes, calculator and contact manager applications on HTC’s Qtec 9090.

We will be paying close attention to this one, but so far it looks like its going to be extremely hard to decide on a new device this upcoming year. News from both Blackberry and Apple rumors have been stirring for some time now.
