Microsoft tried to buy out Facebook, but that didnt work out to well. The kids decided to run things on their own and Microsoft got turned down but got to invest a little chunk of change in them ($250Million). So what is the next best thing to do? Build your own!

Silverlight 2 Beta2 was released today. The upgraded application can be download together with the Visual Studio and Expression Blend tools.
Microsoft’s cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device plug-in that delivers “next generation” .NET based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web. Beta2 adds new features into its small and streamlined 4.6 MB download.
