There is the One Laptop Per Child, which had the goal of providing $100 laptops for third world countries, and now a group of designers are pounding away at developing a $12 computer. Is it Possible?

So how are they going to do this? By copying what is being done in India. A cheap keyboard and Nintendo-esque console that families have been hooking up to TV’s, of course pimped out a little to be more up with the 2000’s with a little Apple II style. Third world cloud computing, here we come!
