Sony has accidentally leaked its CES website a little early, and there is an interesting tidbit of info on there.
From Sony:
“Call friends, talk trash to fellow gamers or catch up with acquaintances via Skype for PSP system.”
Skype, as usual, takes the VoIP lead. There is still no news on when indeed this feature will launch [...]

In an effort to keep up with top Voip company Skype, Yahoo announced its much anticipated paid PC-to-phone VOIP services. The new service is called Phone Out and Phone In.
The new Yahoo service offers Free Worldwide PC-to-PC Calls. The new service launches with a new version 7.5 of of the Yahoo Messenger application.

TelTel, a Santa Clara-based start-up that hopes to become the SIP-based Skype-type service provider raised $8.8 million in Series A venture capital.
The VoIP software Blue Note Networks of Tewksbury, Massachussets, scored $15 million in series B funding.
Tello has raised $5.5 million.

Microsoft introduced its Office Communicator 2005 at 3GSM in Barcelona. The product is basically integrated voice, video, telephony client software made for wireless and handheld devices.
The interface is based on the Office Communicator 2005 desktop client, with the mobile version providing integrated and seamless communication across all messaging, web video conferencing, voip, and IM.
